Message Here in Aus to get a TT you have to buy the car in Japan and bring it over so same with Skylines, Supras, FTO's, GTO's, Lancer EVO's, Mustangs and so on.

I know people who have agents at auctions in Japan who easily have access to 30,000 cars per week.

You say I want car X in colour Y, manual or auto, preferably with these features/year/mods and then when one comes up at auction they call you, describe the car and you say if you want it. They then bid for you and if they get the car, handle all the auctioneer costs, paperwork, get the car on a boat and handle shipping.

You could VERY realistically get an R32 GTR in the US for maybe US$10-13k (roughly!). The real cost then is getting the car complianced/road legal and registered, converted to LHD etc. Here in Aus we have the grey import scheme where so many 2+2TT's are allowed to be registered from OS each year etc.... I'm guessing you don't have that over there so I'd say that's the hard part, but seriously, cars are ridiculously cheap in Japan.
